Counseling on Stunting Prevention Using Audio-Visual Media via WhatsApp is a crucial information tool because it contains elements of sound and images, which involve the senses of sight and hearing in the absorption process. The lack of knowledge among mothers of toddlers about stunting prevention is influenced by the lack of information obtained, including in the form of counseling, especially through Audio-Visual Media. This type of research is a descriptive survey method aimed at understanding the impact of stunting prevention counseling using audio-visual media via WhatsApp on the knowledge and attitudes of mothers of toddlers, with a sample size of 30 people. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires before and after counseling using audio-visual media via WhatsApp. The results obtained from the data showed that the level of knowledge among mothers about stunting prevention before counseling was mostly in the poor category, with 12 people (40%). However, after counseling, the level of knowledge among mothers increased to a majority in the good category, with 25 people (83.3%), and none were in the poor category. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the knowledge and attitudes of mothers about stunting prevention after counseling with audio-visual media via WhatsApp, which aligns with the objectives of the counseling. It is hoped that communication media such as WhatsApp will continue to be used to enhance knowledge, particularly about stunting prevention among mothers of toddlers.
Brajakson SiokalNurhayatiWahyuningsihJumrah

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common type of oral cancer with high morbidity and mortality rates. This study aims to examine a comprehensive approach to the early detection, grading and multidisciplinary management of OSCC. Early detection of OSCC, through the use of clinical examination, radiologic imaging and molecular biomarkers, is essential to improve patient prognosis. Grading of OSCC using histopathological evaluation and the TNM classification system, provides critical information on tumor aggressiveness and guidance for therapeutic decisions. Effective management of OSCC requires a multidisciplinary approach involving various medical specialties to provide comprehensive care. Primary therapies such as surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, as well as adjuvant therapies including immunotherapy and targeted therapies, play an important role in optimizing clinical outcomes and patient quality of life. The study also identifies recent advances in imaging technology and genetic analysis that can improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment effectiveness.

Keyword : Oral squamous cell carcinoma, multidiscipline, quality of life
Daniel Rexi SitompulMutiara PangaribuanAlbertus Samosir

The degree of acidity or pH (potential of hydrogen) of saliva is an important factor that plays a role in dental caries, periodontal disorders and other diseases in the oral cavity. The mechanical action of brushing your teeth is the most basic action for cleaning your teeth and mouth. Brushing teeth is accompanied by the use of toothpaste which contains several elements including herbal ingredients, detergent, water, binders, sweeteners, therapeutic ingredients and anti-bacterial substances. The herbs contained in toothpaste can affect the pH of saliva as one of the factors causing dental caries. This research method is quasi experimental design. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using herbal toothpaste with betel leaf extract and miswak extract on salivary pH. A sample of 38 respondents was divided into 2 groups, namely the betel leaf and siwak herbal toothpaste groups. Samples were asked to brush their teeth using toothpaste given 2 times a day for 7 days. The statistical test results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in saliva pH between before and after the intervention in the betel leaf herbal toothpaste group with a p value <0.05. There was also a significant difference in the miswak herbal toothpaste group between before and after intervention with a p value <0.05. The conclusion in this study is that the herbal toothpaste of betel leaves and miswak is effective in increasing saliva pH significantly with a p value <0.05. The use of herbal toothpaste from betel leaves and miswak is highly recommended for use in daily life because it is effective in increasing the pH of saliva so that it can reduce the factors that cause caries in Indonesian society.
Syahdiana WatySani Aspipa HarahapNurul HidayahYetti Lusiani
